Position Overview
Medical Assistant- This person assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this includes both clinical and front desk duties.
Licensed Practical Nurse/ Registered Nurse- Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
Location and Hours of Position
PHN Altoona Behavioral Health Center. NOTE: This position is for 40hrs a week with flexible times between 7:45am and 5:00pm (and 1 late night every other week)

Monday 7:45 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesday 7:45 am - 7:00 pm
Wednesday 7:45 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday 7:45 am - 5:00 pm
Friday 7:45 am - 5:00 pm
NO WEEKENDS!
Compensation
LPN starts at $20 per hour, MA and RNs have a different starting wage. PHN will recognize experience, education, and site location when determining wage.
Qualifications
•Graduate of an approved school of nursing
•Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant and/or two years' experience in a clinical setting
•Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge
•Administering Medication
•Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred
•Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a provider's direction
•Computer proficient
